Once arrived Kyoto, it is very IMPORTANT for a guest to visit Dozen Ryokan (Dozen Ryokan 270 Sasayacho, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto) to get a check in instruction for Tsukikusa-An. From Kyoto station to Dozen Ryokan, it takes about 5 mins by taxi or 15-20 mins walk. Once check in is complete at Dozen Ryokan, you can either walk (15mins) or take a taxi (5mins) to Tsukikusa-an.
